Política de reembolso

Last Updated: July 24, 2026

Aiolith provides industrial and commercial cleaning equipment that may require specialized handling, freight transportation, installation, configuration, and technical evaluation. This Return and Refund Policy explains the conditions under which products purchased directly from Aiolith may be returned.

This policy applies to products purchased directly from Aiolith and delivered to destinations currently served by Aiolith. Return procedures, shipping arrangements, and available remedies may vary depending on the delivery destination, product configuration, freight method, and applicable local laws.

Regardless of destination, customers may contact Aiolith regarding verified shipping damage, missing items, incorrect products, or manufacturing defects. Aiolith will review each claim and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

1. Inspecting Your Delivery

Customers should inspect the product, packaging, pallet, or crate as soon as the order is delivered.

Visible shipping damage, missing components, incorrect items, or other delivery discrepancies should be reported as soon as possible and no later than 30 calendar days after delivery.

When possible, visible damage should also be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt before the shipment is accepted.

Please provide the following information when reporting a delivery issue:

  • Your order number
  • The product model and serial number, if available
  • Clear photos of the packaging, pallet, crate, and product
  • A description of the damage, missing item, or discrepancy
  • Video evidence when necessary to demonstrate a functional issue

Please retain the original packaging, pallet, and crate until the issue has been reviewed by Aiolith.

2. Shipping Damage, Missing Items, and Initial Product Issues

If an issue is verified as shipping damage, missing components, an incorrect shipment, or a manufacturing defect, Aiolith will provide an appropriate remedy based on the nature of the issue.

The remedy may include:

  • Remote technical troubleshooting
  • Replacement parts
  • Repair assistance
  • Product replacement
  • Return authorization
  • A partial or full refund, where appropriate

The appropriate remedy will be determined after Aiolith reviews the available photos, videos, diagnostic information, shipping records, and product condition.

When a return is approved because of verified shipping damage, an incorrect shipment, or a verified manufacturing defect, Aiolith will provide return instructions and cover the approved return shipping cost.

3. 30-Day Return Request Window for Manufacturing Defects

Return requests based on an alleged manufacturing defect must be submitted within 30 calendar days after delivery.

Aiolith may require remote troubleshooting, photos, videos, error information, or component testing before confirming that the issue is caused by a manufacturing defect.

A reported issue is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect. Problems resulting from misuse, improper operation, unauthorized modification, unsuitable power supply, incorrect accessories, inadequate maintenance, accidental damage, or normal wear are not considered manufacturing defects.

If a manufacturing defect is verified, Aiolith may provide replacement parts, repair support, replacement equipment, or an approved return and refund, depending on the type and severity of the issue.

Product issues reported after the 30-day return request window may still be covered under the applicable product warranty. Warranty service does not automatically include the right to return the product for a refund.

4. Non-Defective Returns

Aiolith may accept a return requested for reasons unrelated to product quality, provided that:

  • The return request is submitted within 30 calendar days after delivery
  • The product is eligible for return under this policy
  • Aiolith approves the return in writing before shipment
  • The product is returned according to the provided return instructions
  • The product has not been altered, damaged, or improperly operated
  • All original accessories, manuals, parts, and packaging are included

Examples of non-defective returns include ordering the wrong model, changing purchase plans, determining that the machine is no longer needed, or selecting equipment that does not meet the customer’s intended application.

For approved non-defective returns, the customer is responsible for all return shipping, freight, insurance, packaging, crating, loading, and related transportation costs.

Aiolith is not responsible for loss or damage occurring during a customer-arranged return shipment.

5. Restocking and Depreciation Deductions

Approved non-defective returns are subject to a deduction based on the condition of the returned product.

Unused and Unopened Equipment

Equipment returned unused, unopened, complete, and in its original packaging is subject to a 5% administrative and restocking fee.

Opened but Unused Equipment

Equipment that has been opened or removed from its original packaging but has not been operated may be subject to additional deductions if inspection, repackaging, replacement packaging, cleaning, testing, or re-crating is required.

Used or Commissioned Equipment

Once industrial equipment has been operated, installed, filled with fluids, connected to a power source, or otherwise commissioned, it may experience immediate commercial depreciation.

Used or commissioned equipment may be subject to a deduction of 20% to 45% of the original product price.

The deduction will be based on documented factors including:

  • Operating hours
  • Overall mechanical and functional condition
  • Cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, or staining
  • Condition of batteries, motors, hoses, tanks, brushes, and other components
  • Missing parts, accessories, manuals, or tools
  • Cleaning and sanitation requirements
  • Repair, testing, refurbishment, and repackaging costs
  • Condition or absence of the original packaging, pallet, or crate
  • The product’s expected resale condition after refurbishment

The applicable deduction will be determined after inspection. Aiolith will provide an itemized assessment when a material deduction is applied.

The 5% unused-equipment fee and the 20% to 45% used-equipment deduction are condition-based alternatives and will not normally be charged together for the same returned unit.

6. Non-Returnable and Final Sale Products

Unless the product arrives damaged, incorrect, or with a verified manufacturing defect, the following products are not eligible for return:

  • Custom-built or made-to-order equipment
  • Products with customized voltage, plug type, controls, dimensions, or configurations
  • Products modified according to customer specifications
  • Refurbished, open-box, clearance, or otherwise marked final-sale equipment
  • Opened or used consumables and wear items
  • Special-order replacement parts
  • Products damaged through misuse, neglect, accident, or unauthorized modification

Consumables and wear items may include, without limitation:

  • Floor pads
  • Brushes
  • Squeegee blades and rubber strips
  • Filters
  • Nozzles
  • Seals and gaskets
  • Other components intended to wear or be replaced during normal use

A final-sale designation does not exclude claims involving shipping damage, incorrect products, or verified manufacturing defects.

7. Order Cancellations

To request an order cancellation, contact Aiolith as soon as possible at support@aiolith.com.

Standard in-stock orders may generally be cancelled before shipment. Once an order has shipped, it will be handled according to the applicable return provisions in this policy.

Customized or made-to-order products may become non-cancellable after production, configuration, modification, packaging, booking, or freight arrangements have begun.

If Aiolith has already incurred customization, production, crating, freight booking, payment processing, or cancellation costs, those documented costs may be deducted from the cancellation refund where permitted by applicable law.

Any applicable cancellation deduction will be communicated before the cancellation is finalized.

8. Return Merchandise Authorization

All returns require advance written authorization from Aiolith. Unauthorized returns may be refused, delayed, or returned to the sender.

To request a Return Merchandise Authorization, contact:

Email: support@aiolith.com

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • The product name and model
  • The serial number, if available
  • The reason for the return request
  • Photos or videos showing the product condition
  • A description of any technical or functional issue

If the return is approved, Aiolith will provide the return address, packaging requirements, freight instructions, and any other applicable conditions.

The product must be shipped within the timeframe stated in the return authorization instructions.

9. Equipment Preparation and Decommissioning

To meet carrier requirements and reduce the risk of damage during return transportation, industrial equipment must be properly cleaned, decommissioned, and secured before shipment.

Floor Scrubbers and Other Liquid-Handling Equipment

  • Drain all solution and recovery tanks completely
  • Drain and dry all accessible hoses and fluid lines
  • Remove cleaning chemicals, wastewater, and residue
  • Clean and dry the machine before packaging
  • Secure brushes, pad holders, squeegees, hoses, chargers, and accessories

Dry Ice Blasting Equipment

  • Remove all dry ice pellets from the hopper
  • Allow remaining dry ice to dissipate safely
  • Disconnect the machine from the compressed-air supply
  • Fully depressurize the machine and connected hoses
  • Secure the gun, hose, nozzles, and accessories

Visual Verification

Before closing the packaging or crate, the customer must provide requested photos or videos showing:

  • The overall condition of the machine
  • The empty and dry tanks or hopper
  • Included accessories and components
  • How the equipment is secured inside the packaging or crate

The customer may be responsible for additional damage, cleaning costs, carrier charges, or handling expenses directly caused by failure to drain, clean, depressurize, package, or secure the equipment according to the return instructions.

10. Return Packaging and Transportation

Products must be returned using appropriate commercial packaging suitable for the equipment’s size, weight, and transportation method.

Whenever available, the original packaging, pallet, crate, internal supports, straps, and protective materials should be used.

Products must not be returned loose, inadequately protected, or unsecured on a pallet.

For customer-arranged non-defective returns, Aiolith strongly recommends using a trackable and fully insured freight service. The customer remains responsible for the shipment until it is delivered to and accepted by the designated return facility.

11. Inspection and Technical Evaluation

Returned products will be inspected after arrival at the designated Aiolith facility.

Aiolith will generally complete the initial technical and condition evaluation within 5 business days after the returned product is received, provided that the shipment is complete and no additional investigation is required.

The inspection may include:

  • Functional testing
  • Review of operating hours
  • Inspection for damage, misuse, or modification
  • Verification of included accessories and components
  • Assessment of cleaning, repair, and refurbishment requirements
  • Review of packaging and transportation damage

If additional testing, disassembly, carrier investigation, or third-party evaluation is required, the review may take longer. Aiolith will communicate any material delay.

12. Refund Calculation

The approved refund amount may be reduced by applicable charges permitted under this policy, including:

  • Restocking or depreciation deductions
  • Missing-part or missing-accessory costs
  • Repair, cleaning, testing, or refurbishment costs
  • Replacement packaging, pallet, or crating costs
  • Customer-responsible return transportation costs
  • Other documented costs directly resulting from the condition of the return

Any original expedited shipping, optional delivery service, installation, training, or other separately purchased service fee is non-refundable once the service has been performed.

Aiolith will provide the final refund calculation after completing the return inspection.

13. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after the inspection and final refund calculation are completed.

Banks, credit card companies, payment processors, and other financial institutions may require additional time to post the refund to the customer’s account.

Aiolith does not control processing times imposed by the customer’s bank or payment provider.

14. International Orders

Aiolith accepts orders for eligible destinations in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Customers outside the United States may submit claims and return requests under this policy.

Because international orders may involve customized equipment, ocean freight, customs clearance, import documentation, and destination-specific requirements, the return procedure may differ from the procedure used for domestic U.S. orders.

International return arrangements may depend on:

  • The delivery country or region
  • The reason for the return
  • The product condition and configuration
  • Whether the product was customized or made to order
  • The original freight and customs arrangement
  • Whether the shipment was delivered under DDP or another trade term
  • Applicable local consumer protection laws

Customers must contact Aiolith and receive written return instructions before shipping equipment across international borders. Unauthorized international returns may be refused because incorrect freight or customs documentation can result in delays, additional charges, or failed delivery.

For a verified manufacturing defect, incorrect shipment, or shipping damage, Aiolith will provide an appropriate remedy at no cost to the customer. Depending on the nature of the issue, the remedy may include remote technical support, replacement parts, repair assistance, product replacement, an approved return, or a refund.

For approved international returns unrelated to product quality, the customer may be responsible for return freight, insurance, customs charges, duties, packaging, crating, and other transportation costs, unless otherwise required by applicable law or confirmed by Aiolith in writing.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights available under the laws of the customer’s country or region.

Return eligibility and procedures for products delivered outside the United States may vary depending on:

  • The destination country or region
  • Local consumer protection requirements
  • The original shipping and customs arrangement
  • Whether the order was shipped under DDP or another trade term
  • The product configuration or customization
  • International freight, customs, duties, and import restrictions

International customers must contact Aiolith before returning any product. Unauthorized international returns will not be accepted.

Unless otherwise confirmed in writing, customers must not independently ship returned equipment across international borders without return instructions from Aiolith.

15. Warranty Claims After the Return Period

A return request and a warranty claim are not the same.

After the applicable return request window has expired, eligible defects may be addressed under the product’s manufacturer warranty.

Warranty remedies may include:

  • Remote troubleshooting
  • Replacement components
  • Repair guidance
  • Other remedies described in the applicable warranty terms

Warranty coverage does not automatically provide a full-product return or cash refund.

Please review the warranty information displayed on the applicable product page or visit: Aiolith Warranty and Service Information.

16. Applicable Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or modified under applicable law.

Where applicable law provides customers with rights that are more favorable than the terms stated in this policy, the mandatory requirements of applicable law will control.
